I recently completed some illustrations for a website called Sing london. The aim of the site is to promote a festival aimed at getting people across London singing. Editorial illustration

I had a go at illustrating an interesting article I read in the Guardian recently as a personal project. The article reported how chasing wealth can make you ill. Happiness they say comes from experiences with family and friends, not from material posessions. Apparently people earning over the 25K basic level of income are no happier than their lower earning counterparts. Pig farming here I come. Wooooooooo!

Apart from eating myself silly I have had a lovely xmas break creating more characters from...you guessed it...felt! It's been great finding the time to sit down and get a bit creative with the old hands. Here are my two latest creations. More to follow soon.

Felt strawberry pin cushion

I've gone a bit felt mad this month and have started creating little characters. This is my first character so far. A cool little strawberry pin cushion. Not sure I can bring myself to stick pins in it now!

I was threatened with possible arrest this morning by an over zealous rail worker for taking this photo at Charing Cross station. Now I know terrorism comes in many guises, but I'm almost sure the CIA isn't interested in this photo and it highly sensitive content!?
